A dream
across continents.
1979 Atelier was born from a dream that traveled across continents, shaped by heritage, resilience, and quiet ambition.
It begins in Rajasthan, where jewelry is more than adornment. It is emotion, tradition, and identity. Raised in Nagaur, she grew up surrounded by intricate craftsmanship and the legacy of royal artistry, where every piece carried a story within it.
In 2002, she moved to the United States with no formal background in jewelry, guided only by instinct and a deep appreciation for meaningful design. Over time, she recognized a gap — jewelry that felt timeless yet accessible, refined yet effortless, rooted in heritage yet designed for modern life.
What began behind the scenes — designing and curating pieces for other retailers — evolved into something more personal. 1979 Atelier is that evolution. A brand where Rajasthan’s legacy meets modern sensibility, where each piece is created to be worn, cherished, and lived in.

We still work
at the bench.
Six pairs of hands touch every piece — sketching, modeling, casting, setting, filing, and polishing — each step building on the last.
Nothing leaves our studio without final approval from our master jeweler. It’s a standard we’ve held for the past decade.
We don’t rush the process. Custom pieces are completed in roughly four weeks, start to finish.
What goes in,
and what does not.
We have spent a decade refining a short list of things we will work with — and a longer list of things we will not.
Every piece is cast from 14k, 18k gold and 925 silver. Materials that hold their value over time.
Diamonds are Kimberley-certified; colored stones traced to the mine. We decline what we can't verify.
Cast, set, and finished by a team of six. No batch production. No shortcuts. No third-party assembly.
Designed with intention and crafted for longevity, every piece is made to stand the test of time.
